Pablo joined Barka Capital in 2024 as VP of Tactical Opportunities after graduating from his MBA.
Before joining Barka, Pablo was a Summer Associate at I Squared Capital, an infrastructure investor with over $36 billion in Assets Under Management. At I Squared Capital, he worked on the Global InfraTech team, focusing on early-stage investments at the intersection of infrastructure and technology, including energy transition, supply chain disruption, and the digitization of critical infrastructure.
Prior to his MBA, Pablo was an Associate at Grupo Pegasus, a Latin American private equity firm with over $1 billion in Assets Under Management. At Pegasus, he was involved in various stages of transactions in the real estate and retail sectors and led the development of Colombia’s largest senior living platform. He also served as a board observer for four portfolio companies and collaborated with management teams on various strategic projects.
Earlier in his career, Pablo worked as a Senior Associate at Boston Consulting Group, serving Latin American clients in the financial services and energy sectors.
Pablo holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and a BA in Economics and Anthropology from the University of Virginia, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
