Felipe is the VP of Retail at Barka Capital, where he has driven Veto’s growth across Latin America for over 15 years.
He initially joined Veto in 2008 as Marketing Manager, later advancing to lead product development, financial planning, operations, and the marketing and sales strategy for the brand in the region. Felipe now serves as Veto’s General Manager. Under his leadership, Veto has expanded its footprint in Latin America, now reaching over 10 countries and generating more than $19 million in annual sales.
Before joining Barka, Felipe led KFC Ecuador’s trade marketing team, where he developed strategies that guided the brand’s regional expansion into Colombia, Argentina, and Venezuela. His contributions helped solidify KFC Ecuador’s position as the country’s largest fast-food chain, with over 400 locations generating $300 million in annual sales.
Felipe holds an MS in Globalization, International Commerce, and Emerging Markets from the Universitat de Barcelona and a BS in Marketing and Finance from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
