Jenny Paredes

General Accountant

Jenny officially joined Barka Capital in 2003 at the inception of Hidroabanico.

Since then, she has led the management of accounting and financial areas for various projects, including hydroelectric and real estate developments, as well as the administration of holding companies. Jenny is responsible for reporting to executive management, regulatory bodies, and relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with financial processes, and securing new lines of funding for project development.

Her career began in audit firms, where she held supervisory and leadership roles. Jenny’s expertise has been instrumental in executing critical financial operations and supporting the growth of Barka Capital’s portfolio.

Jenny holds master’s degrees in Tax Planning and International Taxation from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar and an MBA from IDE Business School. She also has a BS in Business Engineering with a specialization in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Ecuador’s Universidad Católica.
