Legal Counsel

Francisca joined Barka Capital in 2024 as Legal Counsel, following her experience as an associate at various Ecuadorian law firms.

Before joining Barka, she was a Legal Associate at Lexvalor Abogados, where she advised clients in both administrative and judicial tax proceedings, securing savings of over 70% of the disputed amounts. Over her three years in this role, she also provided ongoing, practical legal counsel, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and proactively identifying opportunities to improve clients’ operational efficiency.

Earlier in her career, Francisca was a Junior Associate at Aprec Abogados, where she supported national and international corporate restructuring processes, with a focus on streamlining clients’ operational and administrative frameworks.

Francisca holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar and a Bachelors in Law from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
