Hidrosofia is a 61.5 MW hydroelectric power plant currently under development. The project is designed as a run-of-river facility, with an authorized water intake of 34.5 m³/s. It will be located in the Sucumbíos Province in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The plant will feature a 7.9 km penstock and three Pelton turbines, producing more than 450 GWh of 100% renewable energy annually.
