Hidronormandia is a 49.6 MW run-of-river hydroelectric power plant located in the Morona Santiago province within the Ecuadorian Amazon, located approximately 30 km Northwest of the city of Macas.

The project was originally financed by BID Invest & FMO under a Project Finance structure which was later refinanced with local debt. Hidronormandia generates >365 GWh of clean energy annually through five WKV german-made Pelton turbines. The project also includes an 83 km 230 KV transmission line.
